Thanks for showing up for Earth Day 2021. At a time when it’s been difficult for so many of us to be with each other in person, Earth Day Initiative and March for Science NYC wanted to empower people to continue to connect virtually around climate action and ways we can build a better future.

We hosted a full line-up of speakers and exhibitors and a virtual march and rally led by March for Science NYC and Fridays for Future.

Register now for updates on our upcoming programming as we build momentum going into the United Nations climate summit in Glasgow in November!

EARTH DAY 2021 VIRTUAL FESTIVAL

Monday, April 19, 2021 from 12 to 7 pm ET

We also hosted the SC1.5NCE NOT SILENCE VIRTUAL MARCH+RALLY led by March for Science NYC and Fridays for Future!

Our partners Future Meets Present and Gather created an incredible and dynamic virtual reality space inspired by 1990s video games where attendees could explore via their own avatar and talk with exhibitors and other attendees via live video chat windows that automatically pop up when avatars approach each other. The virtual festival provided an opportunity for environmental organizations and attendees to come together for Earth Day 2021 even when we couldn’t be together in person, continue the climate conversation in this pivotal year, and identify ways to make a positive impact.
