Earth Day 2024 is here!  We’re coming together to call for climate action and environmental justice. Join the climate conversation at a pivotal time.

We’ll hold our annual in-person festival featuring:

• Exhibits by dozens of environmental non-profits and climate campaigns

• Interactive workshops (sign up at bottom of this page)

• Live performances from DJs for Climate Action, Hila the Earth, and more

• A special art installation titled Amazonia 3.0

• Kids’ activities

12 pm to 2 pm: Sustainable Art Practice - a Workshop by Lolo Ostia

Sustainable Art Practice: Living Materials, Biomaterials, & the Future of Art Making is a workshop led by local artist Lolo Ostia. Driven by curiosity, an interest for sustainability, biological design, and audience engagement, Lolo channels inspiration into crafting immersive environments. Characterized by a playful use of scale and dimensional layers, her installations aim to transport the viewer into a place where perception, sensation, and emotion meet. Her artistic endeavors have been showcased in exhibitions across New York since 2012 and has been awarded for her Documentary Series on New York Fashion Week. Professionally, Lolo held roles as Producer and Director of Photography. Her work has been featured in Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, Vanity Fair, among many others. RSVP for free here.

2 pm to 4 pm: Climate Zine-Making Workshop

Our Earth Day Climate Zine-Making Workshop, led by local NYC artists, is free and open to attendees of all ages. Whether you have made a zine before or you are new to the art, we encourage you to join us in crafting zines that communicate our commitment to climate action and justice. RSVP for free here.

4 pm to 6 pm: Climate and Sustainability Bookswap

Our Climate and Sustainability Bookswap, hosted in collaboration with Climate Words, is free and open to attendees of all ages. Whether you have a favorite book to share or want to discover a new writer, we encourage you to join us in sharing our love for climate books! RSVP for free here.
